I was wondering, could Geffen release "Chinese Democracy" against Axl Rose's wishes? I mean I know Axl owns the name of Gn'R and wrote many of the songs on "Chinese Democracy" but since Geffen has put a lot of money into this, wouldn't they be able to release the product to profit of the product they've invested in?

Apparently not. If they actually had the authority to release it, they would've done it long before now. The Greatest Hits, however, was released without permission. Which, leads me to suspect that Chinese Democracy is still an unfinished product.

If Geffen (or Universal) realesed CD without permision of Axl, that would make Axl explode!!Lawsuits would come and go between Axl and Geffen!!!
And obviously in every Slash or Duff interview they would be asked :How do you feel about Geffen puting out Chinese Democracy without Axls concern?
