Sorry, this is off topic, or at least i?m breaking some rules of this thread..

Anyway, have any of you bought/heard Children Of Bodom?s new single In Your Face? The single-cd includes cover version of Britney Spears Oops, I Did It Again. It?s pretty funny.

I heard about that, sounds like it would be hilarious.  They cover some weird songs.  They covered Andrew W. K.'s She Is Beautiful, and Poison's Talk Dirty To Me as well.

This thread is a mess...still.

I wanted to post a recommendation here but I don't know which song am I supposed to listen to first.

I guess I'll go with the one Aava posted last since that's the only song on page four that follows the rules.

I listened Morisseys How Soon Is Now.

Well, alternative rock, melancholic, a pit boring and very 80s like.

I recommend a finnish band Full Diesel and their song No Mans Land. Their music is kinda melodic hard rock/heavy. The band have been playing together about two years. They have released two EPs; Full Diesel and Gun Shy. Video game FlatOut, which has been published worldwide, includes two songs from their first demo on the game soundtrack.

No Mans Land?s from their first EP. If you liked the song, you should also listen Deathbed Lullaby from Gun Shy-EP (a pit heavier than No Mans Land) and King Of Defeat from Full Diesel-EP.

You?ll find all their song from http://www.fulldiesel.info --> media

I've listened to Avaa's recomendations.

I know Avaa will hate me for saying this? Tongue but No man's land sounded just like anything Creed has done before. It's a much heavier version, but the vocals sound like Creed's singer (which is not a good thing)

The other song, Deathbed Lullaby was better. The guitar solo is ok, but the riffs are still average.

Alright, my turn now.

Listen to Frank Black. He formed the Pixies in the late 80's. The song I've uploaded belongs to one of his solo records.? Whether you like grunge or not, bands like Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Foo Fighters... have stated many times to be influenced by the Boston Quartet.

The song I chose closed Frank's Black album "Cult of Ray". It's an autobigraphical song about a foreign exchange student beaten to death by his school mates 25 years ago. Not a very happy theme, but a great song to say the least. Alternative - pop sounds and melodies with an amazing guitar solo at the very end of the song.

Enjoy? ok

Awesome song dude and that is a great solo at the end! The song seemed to have a lot more depth than his Pixies work good to see he can make equally good but different music while still retaining the Pixiesesque vibe, is the rest of his solo stuff like that? At this point in time i have no great recommendations that i haven't already made anyway i suggest you all check out this track so; Check out Ignatius' recommendation ok

I really like the vocals on this particular track. Pretty good tempo etc. The solo is pretty damn good actually. Thanks for pointing this tune out to me.

For my recommendation i suggest listen to this newish Danish band called "Who Made Who". Kinda a mixture of Disco and some punk i guess. Hard to explain. Anyways here is a link to their song "Out The Door" http://homepage.mac.com/WebObjects/FileSharing.woa/wa/Who_Made_Who_-_06_-_Out_the_door.mp3.mp3?a=downloadFile&user=kjmatteson&path=.Music/Who%20Made%20Who%20-%2006%20-%20Out%20the%20door.mp3
