I recommend the original Turn the Page by Bob Seger...

After you've listened to it, come back and say exactly who the lyrics remind you of!! Go!! Now!

I gave Limewire a shot with no luck. So I guess it's too hard to find.

Ach well, someone else suggest a song to get this ball rolling again.

I like the driving riff in the song, not too crazy about the singer though. sounds like a better version of Scott Stapp, lol.
but the riffage and the drumming is outstanding, song is overall good and well worth listening to.

my next pick is some early Red Hot Chili Peppers (from the original lineup with Anthony Kiedis, Flea, Hillel Slovak - guitar and Jack Irons - drums. Jack was also in Pearl Jam in the mid to late 90s). try the song "Fight Like A Brave". Cheesy

I recommend Alone You Breathe by Savatage.  Kinda like an epic ballad with killer lyrics.

I also would like to recommend Jerusalem by Dan Bern.  Bern is a folk musician with a lot of influences, namely Dylan, Woody Guthrie, and Springsteen.  Some of his songs are very poetic.  Others are political, and like this one, hilarious.  Great artist though!

I don't know if someone posted this already, I want to recommend:

Nine Inch Nails - Non Entity

 ok
Great song !!!!!

You can easily find it on lime wire or Ares, the only recording of this song is from the "ReAct Now: Music & Relief" for the Katrina disaster (9/11/2005) Trent performed live this song.
