Does anyone know anything about the It's So Easy 12" single. Was it only released in vinyl? Where were the lives songs recorded? Is this the only official release of Shadow of Your Love? How are is it to find in a record store? Any info would be great. Thanks.

Yes, ISE was only released on vinyl, and only in the UK.
As for the B-sides, Move to the city is the same version as on Live like a suicide (and thus Lies) and Shadow of your love was recorded somewhere in the LA area around 86 I guess. But who knows, maybe it was part of those fake live sessions that resulted in LLAS. Grin

Shadow of your love can also be found as a B-side to Live and let die (CD and vinyl).

The record is not that hard to find if you look around (ebay would be a good idea). Its value is approximately of $25-30 I would say.

No, it was manufactured in Germany (like almost all European records at the time), but released in the UK as a promotional tool for the dates they did at the Marquee, which were the only European dates in June '87.
And I live in France and can definitely assure you that there's no French version.

Well, my record says on the back cover down at the right side "Manufactured in Germany" and up at the same side "France: WE 221". The label of the record says " MAde in Germany" and the record comes out from the right side of the sleeve, unlike the English record which comes out from above. This maxi was bought in Germany  Wink.
Greetings,
Julius.

One more thing: Shadow of your love from "It' s so easy" is a different version from the one in "Live and let die" single.

Well, if you can provide me with a picture of the maxi opening from the above, I'll be happy to acknowledge you  ok

Sure, after 10 years of collecting GN'R , I don't know shit  Roll Eyes   I must admit I've concentrated more on boxsets, promos, that sort of stuff, and collecting different pressings of the same single with no difference whatsoever except the country doesn't interest me a lot, but still , that's harsh to hear, especially from someone who doesn't know anything about me Tongue
Are you the owner of the website you linked to?
What puzzles me is that I can't find any serious source listing It's so easy as a German release. I mean I haven't seen ONE in 10 years of collecting. And I'd really like to find an explanation to that.
By the way, you'll have to ask Jarmo to make a correction on his site, because he only listed it as a UK release  hihi

I found information about the German version:
Germany 87
12"
920 710-0

http://www.arocknid.com/gnr/breakdown/break_s1.htm

So it's possible that they released it.

Isn't that single also part of the Appetite For Collection box set? Isn't that one German as well?

Oh you managed to go there ! I typed www.arocknid.com the other day but was redirected to some site that was unrelated to GN'R.
If Boerio says it, then it is most certainly true  yes

And you are right about Appetite for collection, I hadn't thought about that  Wink

So to go back to the original question, it was only released in Europe  Grin

Hi Pandora, I didn' t mean to offend you , i said that you didn' t seem to know anything about the It' s so Easy 12" subject, not about GNR, i have been also collecting GNR stuff for more than 10 years. As soon as i can, i' ll show you a picture of the UK 12".
Greetings,
Julius.
