I listen to II in the morning on the way to work and I on the way home. Then I throw in appetite when I go out. I think its definitely a mood thing. It is interesting how different they sound tho, I & II. Sorry I didn't give much of a clear answer.  beer

yes II is my favorite of the 2 albums, but i do like all of Izzy's work on I. But II i lik better.

UYI1's got November Rain.
UYI2's got Estranged.

Round 1 goes to UYI1.

But UYI2 has got more great tracks than UYI1.

To me it's a draw.

Ummm no? This should be easy... UYI1 is weaker in the overall tracking. Use Your ILlusion is almost like a 2nd AFD with a little piano and twist.

Use Your Illiusion II is the best Gn'R album in my opinion and I think many will agree if you think about it.

Use Your Illusion II, it just hurts to say that cuz November Rain is on Use Your Illusion I and thats the best song ever IMO. II is simply just a more solid album overall.

I love them both. I would say that UYI I by a hair is my favorite. But I would not mind being stuck on an island with only these two CDs.

For me UYI 1. It has better songs and on the other hand there aren't as much fillers as on UYI 2 (Yesterdays, Get in the ring, Shotgun blues, So Fine, Don't Cry 2), not to mention the misinterpretation of KOHD.

UYI 2 is my fav album of all time - it has a tracklist to die for and my fav song of all time 14 years.

UYI 1 is amazing too but it just dies in the middle -  better track arrangement would have improved it no end - it seems to go to sleep in the middle - if they'd moved Live and Let die and Dead Horse into 'the middle' it would have kept the tempo going - other wise it seems to drag a bit, there's nothing wrong with the songs on their own but in that order does then no favours - needed a 'big gun' to spice it up

We have different music taste. Dea Horse and LALD are my least favourite tracks on UYI 1 with Don't Damn Me. And my favourites (minus Coma) are in the middle: Double Talkin' Jive, The Garden and Garden Of Eden.
