Sticky Fingers is quality ok. Brown Sugar, Dead Flowers, Sway, Moonlight Mile... drool

I only have the 'big three' of Let It Bleed, Fingers and Exile. Might try and get Beggars Banquet next.

Also, Star Star from Goats Head Soup is great Grin
GET BEGGARS BANQUET, IN MY OPINION IT IS THE BEST AND MOST ESSENTIAL STONES ALBUM OUT OF THERE ENTIRE DISCOGRAPHY. ITS JUST BRILLIANT FILTHY BLUES.

Get Your Ya Ya's Out, Tattoo You and Goats Head ought to find their way into your collection SOON.

BB was my first Stones album, you will not be disappointed.

I only wish they had included JJF on that one!

What was the album called that had the Pop Art style cover, Lucille Ball on it?

The slip sleeve version got pulled or something?

People either hate Some Girls or love it.

It's got a smorgasbord of styles and is one of my favorites.

Yeah dude, Angie rules.  Cool

Most loved it! The vinyl was huge in 1978 - The album is also the Stones biggest selling album.  I adore the thing from start to finish.

Rolling Stones' Mick Jagger becomes a pensioner

Sir Mick Jagger has officially become an Old Age Pensioner.

The Rolling Stones' frontman celebrated his 65th birthday at the weekend (July 26), meaning under British law he is now entitled to a raft of benefits as a senior citizen.

The singer ? said to be worth in the region of ?230 million ? is eligible to claim ?87 a week from the state.

He also qualifies for a bus pass and other discounts.

Jagger has yet to comment on how his new status will affect him, but with a film production company alongside his activities with The Rolling Stones retirement seems some way off still.

Happy Birthday to Mick, can't believe he's 65....actually i can! Don't think we'll see him on a bus around the town anytime soon though!

Let It Bleed is fucking amazing!

While it's obviously not as good as classic stones albums (i.e. beggers, sticky fingers, LIB etc.) I have always liked "Voodoo Lounge". If you like Bridges to Babylon I think you'll like Voodoo lounge, it's much better in my opinion.

Many consider Exile on MainStreet their finest album.

Get Yer Ya Ya's out is a must, its live and Mick Taylor is on lead guitar.

Mick Taylor era 1969-1975 was their finest era and their most hard rocking.  He helped on Let it Bleed on some songs.

Get Yer Ya Ya's Out
Sticky Fingers
Exile on Main Street
Goats Head Soup (Heart Breaker, 100 years, Long Cold winter, Awesome songs with   guitar playing that inspired Slash)
Its Only Rock N Roll

An upcoming book focusing on the gospel according to Keith Richards will be released this spring called, What Would Keith Richards Do? Daily Affirmations From A Rock 'n' Roll Survivor. Louisville's Courier-Journal reported that author Jessica Pallington West has compiled some of the Rolling Stones guitarist's greatest quips about music, life and the law including such legendary "Keith-isms" as "I would rather be a legend than a dead legend" and "I've never had a problem with drugs -- only with policemen." What Would Keith Richards Do? is set for publication in May.

The Stones are currently taking a much deserved break after the 2005-2007 A Bigger Bang world tour, which grossed the band over half-a-billion dollars. Richards says that it's not so unthinkable that the Stones will keep performing until they die: "That has always been my point. Ain't nobody that complained that Duke Ellington or Count Basie and said, 'Why are you still doing it?' They did it all their lives. What is it -- because I'm white and I play rock 'n' roll? You know what I mean? Otherwise, I'm just doing what all other guys who I follow -- you know Muddy (Waters), Howlin' Wolf. You do what you do until you drop. You know, you rock 'til you drop."
