Hey, you caught me in a Coma...

If you think about it, there were notable GNR-style bands in the 70s (i.e. Aerosmith), late-80s/early-90s (i.e. L.A. Guns), and late-90s/early-2000s (i.e. Buckcherry). I can?t think of any similar bands in the early-80s though, and I find that kind of strange. Someone had to hold the blues-metal thing together between Aerosmith and Guns n Roses. The years of 1980 to 1987 couldn?t have been that bleak for fans of that type of music. Personally, I try to get into as many genres as possible, and I can name a band that I like in each of those genres for any given time period, but I just can?t think of anything that matches my hard rock/heavy metal tastes during the years I mentioned. Maybe that?s why I?m suddenly thinking about this at 4am. I don?t really know. But does anyone feel like helping me out?
