Until someone can find a way to beat the Patriots defense I'm sticking with my hometown team. Plus they are a shoe-in to win the AFC East and I defy anyone to beat them in Foxboro during January. I also don't see the chuck rule making much of a difference in Ty Law's game, physical or not he is one of the top 2 DB's in football.

For the NFC, I'd say it will probably be the Eagles. I just can't see Donnovan McNabb picking apart the Pats defense, they are to complex.

As far as the tuck rule, it is an actual rule. It happened and was ruled correctly. Either way it was payback for the 1976 AFC chamionship where the Pats would have beaten the Raiders if not for a Phantom Ruffing the Passer Penalty.

thats true, i mean besides the Raiders still had chances to win the game so its not like that play alone lost them the game.

Peyton manning is just an over rated crybaby sometimes, he is a great quarterback but he shoots his team in the foot a lot, like brett favre. they think any throw is possible because of their ungodly arm strength and their ego's get them beat.

all of ty law's picks were legit against indy, he wasnt holding etc etc, manning just made piss poor decisions!

I heard a funny little thing on Boston Sports Radio this past week:

Roses are Red
Chocolate is Rich
Colts can't beat the Pats
'Cause Peyton's a Bitch

The fish

 Cry

Ya gotta have hope!

If you're a die hard fan of a team logic can allude you.

Luckily my 2nd fave team is the Pats Smiley
I'll be happy if they win again. They are so well coached and know how to get it done.

Which explains the Baseball obsession with everyone like me who lives in the Boston area.

yeah Coma but look at the Redsox now! they have almost made it all the way back, and now with Kevin Brown out for the Yankees and the addition of Curt Schilling *who beat the yankees along with randy johnson and u can argue that pedro is as good as randy* i think boston has a legit shot.

Let me ask u something Coma, im from Kentucky, so i dont know a whole lot about Boston fans.

Lets say you guys beat the Yankees but lose in the world series, willthe curse still be alive?

I still am glad they didnt go through on the AROD deal, i think trading manny ramirez wouldve been crazy! Manny Ramirez if its possible is one of the most under rated hitters in all of baseball, this man gets nowhere near the credit he deserves.

anyhow my fav team is the Vikings 2nd is the Cowboys

ive been a cowboy fan since i was like 5 and all those years of losing made me a tough fan also, im also an atlanta Braves fan since i was around 5 or 6 and those 100 loss seasons sucked! but finally in the 90s being a fan paid off with the braves impressive run and the cowboys 3 super bowls!

Was very tough watchin the Cowboys and Vikings sunday, was hard for me to cheer either way.

corey dillon looked good but did anyone see the scowl he had on his face on the bench, i mean he only touched the football 15 times or so?  Dillion has always been a me first person, so im anxious to see if he keeps gettin looked over and doesnt get 20 plus carries if he will start whining like he did in cincy, especially if they lose a couple of games.

Denver Broncos

their defense with Champ Bailey is unbelievable! Plus Quentin Griffin outdid Clinton Portis on their first days.  watch out for the broncos!

Yes it would. The curse of the bambino will be broken only after the bosox win the WS.

I don't like to think about them has having the best chance......that makes it hurt that much worse

If you belive in the curse then yes (supposedly it was broken opening day this year when Robert Kraft (patriots owner) brought a bag of dirt from Gilete stadium and spread it accross the infield at Fenway)

To make our internal torture worse..... If we were to win the World Series, but not beat the Yankees on the way. It would be a hollow victory (at least thats what some say)

He claims he is too old to care about stats and carries just as long as they keep winning, but I think his numbers will pick up over the course of the season anyway, esspecialy with the way late fall/winter gets up here.

Raven Vs. Pats AFC / Vikings or Seahawks Vs. Eagles NFC.? ?Superbowl Pats Vs. Vikings/Eagles.? Eagles will not win, Vikings or Pats.? Most likely the Pats.? The Vikings will show some potential this year.? peace

EDIT:  The Vikings are starting to look doubtful, Sad to say.  Injuries are starting to rack up in week 2.  Rosenthal is done for the year and Kleinsasser maybe facing season ending injury.   crying
