Have any of you heard of the estonian punk band called J.M.K.E?

I?ve just get to know their music and so far i think it?s fantastic!

J.M.K.E has been quite popular in Finland and Estonia in late 80?s, after Soviet Union had blown away. Just before Estonia became independent, their singer Villu Tamme spent some time in mental hospital, because of his insane lyrics.

Anyway, go listen to their song Tere Perestroika (songs are in estonian though) http://www.stupido.fi/twins/fin/jmke.shtml
And more info about the band (in english) http://punk.bumpclub.ee/jmke/jmke_eng/index.html

Interesting, Thanks.  ok
I like threads like this coz I?m always curious about unknown fresh music.

Sound-wise it?s spanking but not new, really.
Are they singing something political?

Yeah, songs are very anti-Soviet.

Very basic. Has a very cockney, slow, fast, ska feel to it. But it's not bad, I wouldn't go buy it, I don't think.
