Jimmy's hand-aged and Slash's 'Custom Authentic' aged headstocks.? Spot the difference
The Slash model's piezo bridge is something we'd like to see on more LPs

The Page's push/pull pot works as a coil-split tone control for the bridge pickup
The Page has it all: from classic old Standard tone through Clapton's 'woman tone' to Peter Green
Everything has been reproduced here - even the belt buckle damage

Well, those are great guitars for sure.
But if I had that much money (!!!!!) to buy only one of these guitars, I'd rather call the fucking custom shop for my own signature model!
Damn, if there are actually people out there who are willing AND able to spend money on these guitars, then let me offer you a deal: you give me that money, because I can record an entire album, book and play a dozen shows with that money. After that, I'm gonna get you one of each signature model, handsigned by Slash and Jimmy themselves in return!
With these guitars, you will instantly become a member of both Guns N' Roses AND Led Zeppelin! With these guitars, you will play guitar better than Slash and Jimmy together! With these guitars, you will have written both "Kashmir" and "Paradise City"! How's that? C'mon, just 5000,- to 6000,- pounds each, that's not asking too much - is it?
Seriously, how much of a fan can one be?
These "signature guitars" are just sick. At least the prices are.
But I'm sure Slash can afford his one signature model.
What's the market, what's the use for these models? Is it to show off the models they make for artists, or do they seriously aim at normal people to buy these guitars? I don't get it...
On a sidenote: J. Hawkins from THE DARKNESS gets a SIGNATURE guitar? What's the world coming to??
LOL !!
But if I had the money I would buy the Slash signature, because it have the abilety to switch over to an acustic (or was it spanish sounding?) guitar, and that would be cool to have on stage...By the way, Slash's one got the best overall review in this test diden't it?

You could just go to a shop and ask them to put one in your standard Les Paul.. It really isn't that big of an operation. It would still cost a whole lot less.

Yeah, I guess you are right, but I said "if I had the money" and for a big Slash fan, and guitarist, it would be cool to own one, but I wont sell my car just to get it..
