Something Corporate

I know...its sad to say, but I don't think GnR is my favorite band anymore.  I still am a diehard fan, but after so long without any new material it gets kind of old waiting around wondering if it'll ever come.
Anyway...one of my buddies from work introduced me to Something Corporate, and at first i was completely against this band, because they were just another shitty punk band.  But i gave them a chance and i absolutely loved them.  The piano makes the music.  But the reason they're my new favorite band is that the music is awesome and they put on an amazing live show...they're one of the top three live shows i've seen (AC/DC, GNR, and SoCo; in no particular order).
I was just wondering how many other people out there like them, or have even heard of them...i feel like i'm kind of selling out GNR for some crappy punk band...but they're soo good i can't help it
If you want to give them a listen i recommend the song Hurricane (changing weather patterns)  and pretty much anything else by them

Chris has a point there.   I saw them a few years back at the Warped Tour and tried to single handedly boo them off stage.  They act like they invented playing piano to rock music, right in the front of the stage and with all their fans wearing t-shirts boasting, "Piano Rock."   gimme a break.  and the music was just typically cookie cutter pop...whatever cause it wasn't punk.

but hey man, if thats your thing go for it.  I'm sure you'd slag off a few of my fav bands too.

well...first off, let me just say, i'm crying right now because that really hurt my  feelings.

i've been visiting this sight since 99' but i'd rather not get into all the bullshit arguements that everyone has (guess i've succeeded in that though) and i'm pretty sure even you've had a first post

SoCo also stands for Southern Comfort, which happens to be my favorite liquor (but only if its 100 proof)...one of my favorite things to do is drink SoCo and listen to SoCo
