BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION/ex-L.A. GUNS guitarist Tracii Guns recently joined former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke for a handful of shows in South America. Guns has filed the following post-tour report:

"Just got back from South America, A PLACE WHERE THEY KNOW HOW TO ROCK.
Gilby and I went a day early to do two radio interviews and a press conference where we also did a short acoustic set. After 16 hours of flying (my wings were tired), we got in went to the radio station and did 'Tijuana Jail' and 'Dead Flowers' live over the airwaves. Then we went to the roxy bar in Buenos Aires where an overly warm and enthusiastic crowd of about 600 rockers greeted us to do the news conference and acoustic set.

"Day 2 we went to lunch with the crew and we met Muddy and Chad, then went to the Roxy club for soundcheck. Later that night we rocked hard to a sold-out crowd over 1,000-plus screaming rockers. It was absolutely amazing. Then we went back to the Roxy bar to meet with our friends from the Buenos Aires Hell's Angels. They really treated us like kings and we had an amazing dinner and lots of great beer.

"That ended around 3:30 a.m. and then off to the airport we went for a five-hour flight with three layovers to get to Paraguay. Paraguay is almost like an unknown tropical paradise. We finally got there and did a press conference with about 200 people. We tried to do a signing there but the fans were a little too enthusiastic and almost crushed us so we had to get out quick.

"Finally getting to the hotel around 2 pm, we got some sleep then off to the show where we had a great support act called PROFANE. Then we went out onstage and did our thing to about 2,500 screaming Paraguayans. After the show, about half the crowd chased us to the bus. Thankfully nobody got hurt. Then at 4:30 am, we were off to the airport again to go back to Argentina. This time the flight was only one and a half hours because there was no layover. We got to the hotel and went to bed around 2 pm. [That night's] show was nearly flawless. The opening acts were amazing one of them was a M?TLEY CR?E tribute band called LOUDER (they ruled)?

"All in all, an amazing trip that went way beyond expectations.

"We love SOUTH AMERICA!!!!!!!!
