And Bi Polar, I wasn't saying that Pink Floyd was goth, I'm saying that maybe some of the goth bands were inspired by them.  A lot of goth stuff sounds like dark, Floyd-esque progressive rock, but with less instrumental ability.

o yea dude... I know.   I was actually going to say something like.....  'well I must be goth cuzzz cuz I like dark music with keyboards.... many keyboards" lol     whatever!  I thought you made a great point with the Floyd similarities....  I mean, I listened to the 'Saucerful of Secrets" Album today, & if that ain't 'Goth', then damn, I would'nt know what is ok

Joy Division has some great tracks ("Love Will Tear Us Apart" is a classic)

New Order is in the same vein...
