I was so proud today, a little tear was brought to my eye.

For those of you who've been to my site recently, you've seen the article with my son captured on the webcam, rockin out to GnR. Well, today, it just got better.

First, I ask him what he wants to see on the computer.

I'm waiting for either fishies, Dora, or Blues Clues. Generally, not my ideal entertainment. It's good for him, but bores the living shit out of me.

Just when I thought I was doomed to an hour of my computer being raped by obnoxious childrens programming, he says he wants....

Holy shit..is he serious?

So I put on the video of the 2002 VMA's. I had to test the theories, so why not put on something that he may not consider to be that great.

What's the first thing he says? He gets all excited, and says, "AXL ROSE!!"  So help me Christ, he starts head banging right on the spot. The lil bugger is a die hard, like me!

Anyway, we spent the afternoon working on explaining who Slash is. Duff should be pretty easy too, but we might run into a prob when it comes to the drummers.

So yeah...that's my story. I'm the proud step-father of the worlds youngest GnR fan. Man, I rock.

My girlfriends kid is 2 and a half years old, knows the lyrics (kinda) to about 5 diff GnR tunes, and is obsessed with Axl Rose.

Case in Point...

Me: Wanna watch Dora the Explorer? (Second Fave Show)

GnR Obsessed Kid: No

Me: Whaddya wanna watch?

I, to, grew up on GNR, Led Zepp, AC/DC, and as a 4 year old girl in 1994..  ok It's never too early!!!

You must be proud man!!!  ok I would be!!! I turned my littel sister who used to like Usher and Gwen Stefani... to the ways of RnR!!  yes Better believe it!!  ok I have spent more than a year trying to do what i thought was impossible and a few months ago I did!!!  On the way back from school camp on the bus - I had around 13 15 year old girls singing the words to Paradise City!!!  crying *crying with happiness*

I have found the meaning of life.
