It's probably just hopeful thinking on my part, but I think Axl is holding back on the website and then when it does launch there will be a ton of info on it. They will have the tour dates, album release date, a statement from Axl etc. all the first day it goes online. I don't know, that just seems to be the gnr way, that there is no news for a long time and then the flood gates open all of a sudden, so why would the website be any different.

Why would they open a website?? they have sites like this one and CD.com, newgnr.com mygnr.com... So many sites that do prolly a better job of keeping up with the news than they would. 

Why open a website when you have so many that are done for free and very well done and moderated?Huh

If they did open a site most people would jump ship and go to the official site and sites like this wouldnt be updated as often or maybe even go away.....  Id rather see them let the fans run the webapages...

even if there was an official updated site, there would still be more news on the non official sites, Axl is not going to post that he was sighted in ny and that he previewed tracks from CD. Im sure that when he knows for sure that CD is gonna drop and its set in stone, we will get a press release of the happenings in the gnr camp.

i just dont get it, i imagine the site gets a lot of hits daily, so statements should be put on there first


they don't need an offical site in my eyes, this one and mygnr forum do the job!.
