Too bad we cant catch the tv broadcasts in europe that much. but i have a lot old school UFC tapes from the 90s? \m/
They have only recently started broadcasting on TV in America with Spike TV, before that it was all PPV.

I just hope that we get the the SPIKE TV show on English TV.

UFC ANNOUNCES COACHES FOR SECOND SEASON OF THE ULTIMATE FIGHTER?

Hughes, Winner Of June 4 Tanner-Franklin Fight To Star In Hit Reality Series On Spike TV

Las Vegas, NV--UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes has been selected to be one of the coaches for the second season of Spike TV?s hit reality series The Ultimate Fighter?, while the second coaching spot will be decided Saturday inside the Octagon? at UFC 53: Heavy Hitters, UFC President Dana White announced today.

Not only will the middleweight belt be on the line between Evan Tanner and Rich Franklin at UFC 53, but the winner will also become the coach opposite Hughes on The Ultimate Fighter.

?Matt Hughes is a great champion of the UFC and will be an outstanding coach on The Ultimate Fighter,? said White, who also is featured on the series. ?There?s even more at stake now in the Tanner-Franklin fight. I?m excited to find out who will emerge as the new middleweight champion and as our second coach on the show.?

The Ultimate Fighter?s second season is scheduled to tape this summer in Las Vegas and will premiere on August 22, 2005 on Spike TV.

Yeah old news Timothy my friend...UFC 53 was 2 weeks ago now, Franklin beat Tanner(Smashed his face to a pulp...see www.sherdog.com).

So therefore Franklin is the next coach! (Hes awesome)

It is not yet known whether Franklin will fight Hughes as they are such good friends, the reason behind this is that the two coaches will fight at the end of the series, like Liddel and Couture did at the end of the first series.

Use the link above if you like MMA* , theres a good forum on there with some interesting MMA topics, the people in there are complete idiots as you will see, good read nevertheless.
Also if you have a favourite MMA fighter, whether it be in UFC or Pride, make use of their Fight Finder search facility they have, if anyones had an MMA match. it will be on there along with the Result and the event!

Awesome site!

Bob Sapp was gonna fight Mike Tyson

Tyson would beat him in a straight up boxing match, Sapp doesnt have much of a chin.

Hell yeah ,it kicked ass

ATTENTION, SPOILERS FOR TONIGHTS ULTIMATE FIGHT NIGHT!!!!!!!!! BE WARNED

Chris Leben was impressive beating Patrick Cote, Cote went the distance losing a decision to Tito Ortiz, so he faced nice competition

Josh Koshcheck continues to improve, this guy has a striking game now to go along with his excellent wrestling abilities, he could be tough to beat.

Stephan Bonner didnt impress me at all, Sam Hoggert fought an amazing fight and I thought he at least won the 2nd round but the judges arent gonna give him anything over a guy who is signed, Bonner won the fight but wasnt impressive in my eyes.

Main event sucked, very very boring

Mike Swick looked incredible, his hands are lightning!

Cant wait till august 20th, Jeremy Horn can beat Chuck Liddell again, and Mike Van Arsdale is a formidable opponent for Randy Couture

is gonna be an excellent night of fights!

The two undercard fights that werent show live are going to be show on the replay (thursday 11:05 est on SPIKE)

Fans in attendence say the Florian v. Karalexis fight was the best of the night, turned into a griffin v. bonner like war.
That fight is said to be replacing the main event on the replay, I'd check it out if I were you.

Quote
Chris Leben was really  impressive
but he looks terrible in the octagon, he just looks untrained (but he is very good I don't mean to take anything away from him)

U gotta understand something though

out of all the Ultimate Fighters including Forrest Griffin

Chris leben fought and defeated the toughest opponent

Cote went the distance with  Tito Ortiz

the other Ultimate Fighters have fought no bodies so far.

So Leben needs more work but part of that was due to he fighting an amazing opponent.

Nate hit the guy on the mat and the guy wasnt defending himself, the ref stopped it a little too soon but that guy was beat anyway.

Yeah I see what your talking about with the Nate fight D.

Leben does need some work on his game but he seem like he is going to really work on fixing the hole he has.SO I think with in the next 3 to 4 years he could be a really top noth fighter.

I hate Chris Leben's Marco Ruas Toe Stomping

it is just so fucking gay looking.

I will check that fight out for sure, the main event of the live event sucked so bad, so im looking forward to that match

I just hope kenny Florian is better than what he was in that ultimate fighter finale.

Kenny really improved his stand up, and I'm told (was issed that I didn't go out to Vegas for this one) he put on a Muay Tai clinic in the first round.

Link I said at the end of my last post, I'm not try ing to say Leben is bad, he did beat the best opponent of the TUF Fighters, but he just looks ugly. He is awkward to watch, but I wouldn't want to fight him Smiley

I hate Leben's toe stomps, but he impressed me, i still think Nate Quarry or Josh Koshcheck will be the best fighters to come out of TUF.

ok go to this link and vote on Saturday's fights.

People think George St Pierre will beat Frank Trigg, those people are crazy!
