Who?

« on: June 19, 2005, 04:25:14 PM »

On saturday i saw the last episode in the new series of Doctor Who and i've really enjoyed i thought it was like a breath of fresh air to saturday nights since the schedule has been poor for years.  Christopher Eccelston excelled in the role and i think he was one of the best ever and i think it's a real shame he's gone so soon.  Billie Piper suprised me to showing some acting talent and being a babe at the same time helped, now there was the odd weak story but in general it's been fun viewing you don't have to understand it all cos some parts of the stories only the ultimate geek would get but the entertainment and one liners are great and i am really looking forward to when it returns with the new doctor.  Best part of the series for me would be when they travelled back to during the war and you had all those people with gas masks for faces all wanting their 'mummy'...weird stuff, fun nonetheless though.  It also had a great ending saturday give the viewers a chance to see the new doctor David Tennant as the old one sacrificed himself to save Rose what did everyone else think of the new series?

I never cared about Dr. Who. But back in the 80's, I had a cousin who was obsessed with the show. I never understood his fascination. When he would watch Dr. Who, I would go to his bedroom and play Nintendo.

I never understood his fascination.
I think my fascination may lie in the fact i am scared of death and seeing someone with 13 lives who can travel throughout time is pretty cool and something i wish i could do.
