LONG LIVE 80's METAL!!

« Reply #143 on: December 08, 2006, 02:59:32 PM »

DAm nice thread but ive been to toooooo many shows to remeber. I could go in my shoe box (vans circa 1980) and look at every stub that i have. Yup i keep them all . Since I am at work it would be hard to remeber. I can tell you the one band that has eluded me for one reason or another.

GUNS N ROSES

They opened for Iron Maiden on the seventh so of a seventh son tour but both shows I went to GnR canceled because of Axels voice. Then they did not come back until a couple of years later and missed the show do to prior commitments. On th e UYIL tour the day of the show i was flying back home and ran into bad wether and got stranded in Denver.

really suxs to be  on trying to See GnR

Oh then when the US tour ( For CD) was annouced I bought tickets for  Sacramento And Reno what happens they get pushed back to 2007.

2006 was a great fucking year for me:

Motley Crue
Roger Waters
Bob Seger & the Silver Bullet Band
Guns N' Roses

I also saw the Chili Peppers back before all their music got sensitive.

And many of those 1980s nostalgia shows with 4-5 bands for $15.
