I love this story , it really morphs me into the Christmas spirit. My favorite version of the movie is the one from 1999 starring Patrick Stewart as Ebeneezer Scrooge. Do you people like this story?

Yeah, it's an awesome story.  My fave version of it is probably the one they use in the Bill Murray film Scrooged, great stuff!

Yeah the Bill Murray rendition is pretty good...especially the ghost of Christmas Present, she really slaps him around and that comedian Bobcat something or other (the dude who turns into a lush after being fired) funny stuff

Bobcat Goldthwait, i've only ever seen this guy play people who are pretty damn crazy.  I remember him as Zed in the Police Academy films, one of the best characters in those films.

I haven't seen that one.? Have you seen the older one starring George C. Scott?? I always liked that one, I wonder how it compares to the Patrick Stewart version.

But my favorite Christmas movie by far is A Christmas Story.  I never get tired of watching it.

Merry X-mas!

The work IS public domain, so posting the link doesn't violate any copyright laws...just in case the link makes anyone "nervous".

It's my favorite story, too.

My favorite "movie" version is the Alistair Sims version.  A gifted comedic actor (though this version is anything but comedy) who does an amazing job with the role.

I'm also partial to the Mr. Magoo version. Smiley
