Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries,
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You...you may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world

You...you may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one

RIP John

you know what I hate?

that bastard murdered him for fame and notoriety and guess what?

thats what he got.

i think his name should never be fuckin mentioned, they shouldnt do biographies on him and Its a fuckin shame that his name will always be synonymous with Lennon's.

Id love to torture this fuckin guy.

Not quite D.

The whole fame and notoriety thing was a given if you kill any legend but in actuallity Chapman met Lennon a few days before he killed him and he really thought he was a nice and warm-hearted guy. Despite his admiration and respect for John, Chapman heard voices inside his head telling him that he had to kill him.

Its no defense however as even in the most insane, there exists a fragment of sanity.

Chapman killed John because he wanted to be John. The guy had some serious problems in his head.

BTW Lennon used to be one of my heroes and I still love his music.

Not trying to nit-pick but Chapman met Lennon on the same day he killed him.

that chapman guy was nuts-   i watched a very interesting program about him a week or so ago.  he loved lennon as a child, related to the music he made with the beatles- lennon then said they were bigger then jesus- which mark did not like (and later "imagine there's no heaven" lyric did'nt help much).    he thought of himself as a nobody and lennon as a somebody who did'nt deserve it. lennon was a phoney.       he did figure (or the voices figured)  if he killed lennon then he got what he deserved PLUS he would be famous.         this whole thing would make an awesome movie- lemme tell ya
