I am an 80s girl when it comes to soundtracks, as most of the ones I own are from 80s flicks. Some of my favorites that haven't been mentioned are Pretty In Pink, Repo Man, and The Lost Boys.

ahh shit, why didnt i say The Lost Boys Angry   ok ok
The version of The Doors 'People are Strange' is unreal, on the sondtrack it's a half medly of it with Spanish Caravan, i love it ok

Any one see Brainscane with Edward Ferlong, it love this movie, the soundtrack's pretty cool too!!!

Requiem for a dream,scored? by Clint Mansell.
Very moody,dark,sad. Very "something really bad is about to happen very soon"

Listening to the soundtrack cd itself isn't as great an experience as i had hoped;
Large part of the soundtrack is build around the same piece of? melody so it gets repeatitive at times.
Good stuff though, my fav cds atm.

...And incredibly effective in the movie itself.
Watching these young adults destroying their life with the silouette of this deserted wheel of the world in
the backround while the flood of various string instruments&piano start doing that there cool main theme..ahh, big emotions.

Fairly unrelated piece of trivia;
In requiem for a dream, when Marion (Jennifer Conelly) is, er, riding the snake one of the visions she gets
is a view of a beach and a long dock where she stands alone, staring in the sea.
Dark city(released around 1995), a movie wich also stars Jennifer Conelly, has pretty much exaqctly the same scene.

when the pretty woman and wayne's world soundtracks came out, those were what actually first introduced me to this band called red hot chili peppers. there's a possibility you've heard of them.

There are very few songs i like by them but their songs on these 2 soundtracks are good, my fave song of theirs is Higher Ground on the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie soundtrack.

the only full-length album I have by them is bloodsugarsexmagik, and it's ridiculously good anyway.
