one of the best rock n roll bands on this planet, bobby gillespie > You.   (pm me for new single, pure rock n roll)

**NEW SINGLE OUT 22nd MAY; NEW ALBUM OUT 5th JUNE**

Primal Scream are back with their greatest rock and roll record yet, featuring the first single 'Country Girl'.

Recorded in 10 days last June, the album was laid down live on the studio floor at Olympic Studios in London by Bobby Gillespie on vocals; Andrew Innes on guitars, banjo & mandolin; Martin Duffy on piano, harmonium, hammond b-3 organ & harmonica; Gary 'Mani' Mounfield on bass and Robert Young on guitars & harmonica.

They were joined by the incredible Will Sergeant from Echo & The Bunnymen who played lead guitar on ?When The Bomb Drops?; Warren Ellis of Nick cave & The Bad Seeds who played fiddle in ?Hell's Comin' Down? and Alison Mosshart from The Kills who sang backing vocals on more than a few songs and duets with Bobby on ?Dolls? (Come On Baby, Let's have A Good Time).

These sessions were produced by Youth. The band then took the tracks to L.A. where they were mixed by David Sardy at Village Recorders, again in 10 days.
