Wow, prolly just another rumor, but, who knows.

Maybe it's a "real" GH picked by Axl, Slash & Duff. T'would be cool

Or maybe it was a stipulation that to see CD then Axl gets to release his own GH, not that garbage cd that is out there now.

Again, who knows. I'm gonna trust my instincts and go with FAKE!!!!!

There is enough material to warrant another greatest hits--key album cuts and well known songs that didn't make the 2004 GH. If this is the case, it will be good because, as you know, a lot of kids who weren't around for GN'R's heyday but know the band via the 2004 GH, will get a taste of some more obscure songs.

add Double Talkin' Jive, the You're Crazy demo and 1-2 unreleased songs and it'll be better than the original GH.  yes

Since there is still strong interest in GN'R, how about a box set? I'm talkin'-

Use Your Illusion--the raw tracks, minus the gloss. Maybe some Adler era demos.
The Moby era-With Freese.
Unreleased songs that have never seen the light of day.
The 1995 demos- With Slash and Wylde.

it was printed in kerrang that axl wanted to put out a version of AFD with new guns playing so the original guys wouldnt get royalties. ?BUT......

Axl cant block Guns n'Roses original songwriters from getting royalties for AFD - no matter WHO plays or records it. ?Slash, Duff, Izzy, Steve will always get a percentage for being the composers of the work - regardless. ?Though new gn'r would get performance royalties for a Gn'r greatest hits if they were playing on it.

Cant see how Axl wouldnt know this - and therefore not bother. ?Apart from a mixture of new Guns band playing old guns stuff, a couple of CD tracks (madagascar, blues etc tour songs from 2002 prob) and maybe a couple of live ones - what the feck would be on a greatest hits 2???

THEN..... out comes CD now that we've all had a "proper" introduction to the new band.

I can see a live version of 'Madagascar" being on GH volume 2. It is kind of a hit--among GN'R fans. Also, maybe "Oh My God."

I doubt we'll see OIAM or any songs Izzy sang on ever again.

Without any of the songs we've saw on GH it will be a tough sell to the general public.

It's either a fake, a coverup or a revised tracklisting. simple

I think a GH w/o any songs from the first GH will sell a couple hundred thosand...maybe even gold. Since the live album had one Izzy song on vocals, I don't see why the new GN couldn't have one.

As for the GHV2 being a smokescreen for Chinese Democracy, I doubt it. We would have heard a buzz by now. Or rumors.

If you type "Guns N' Roses" in google, it still says Nov, btw.

Polydor UK have told Splat that there is no new Guns N'Roses Greatest Hits album coming out in December, according to their up to date UK release schedule.
The rumour, which states that a Greatest Hits : Volume II is to be released on 6th December 2005, originated on the California-based Music Tap website.

A second greatest hits records is OVERKILL. As much as I love Aerosmith, I hate the fact that they have 12 different collections of 'greatest hits' (live or otherwise)...even though I bought their latest yesterday ?Tongue ?But at least they have 14 studios albums to pull from. I can understand a 'Volume 2' coming out AFTER we run the rumored next 3 albums through (and even can appreciate a Volume 3 that took deep cuts from all 8 albums after that), but to release another greatest hits after two albums of rehashed old material is just too much.

But who knows...as others have said...maybe it's CD incognito.

Is this the GNR news Tommy was talking about? Chinese Democracy greatest hit..? hihi

Or a Chinese Democracy tribute album.  If Axl won't release it then at least get some other bands to cover the stuff and put it out. hihi

Hmm. Nightrain, It's So Easy, Rocket Queen, Garden of Eden, The Garden, Pretty Tied Up, Don't Cry (alt.)...Those are about the only songs I can think of. Perhaps 'Oh My God'?

What about Used to Love Her and Estranged
