No, not even close.

Unfortunately Rock music is quite marginal here. France is not a country where Rock music is popular like in sweeden or in the UK. Plus, there is no promotion. There are a very, very few articles about the gig and most of them are trash. They trash Axl and say "Slash is not here anymore, it sucks, don't go to the show you will be desapointed".? Sometimes there are some positive comments, but they are just small tiny mentions. I'm afraid of the lack of promotion and of the global negativity (for the momment). I hope it will change...

I bet tickets will be gone before you think.

I think it will be sold-out by the time the gig happens in june. But it won't be sold-out in the next couple of days, not even weeks.

My tickets just arrived from France. Waiting for me at local post office.
The problem is, that I messed up my VISA and had to use my girlfriends one. Now I have to wait till the weekend when she'll come to my place and take them from post office, because the tickets were orderded with her name.

Flying into Paris from Toronto on the 17th, spending a few days, then it's GNR on the 20th... 

Any other Canadians going to be in attendance? 

Add me to the list of people from this board coming.  I've been a member for awhile, just rarely post.

I think after Rio, you'll see a big surge of ticket sales.  Smart way to start a tour in my opinion, even if the itinerary is all over the map following.
