get an apple,poke a whole with a biro straight through from the top to the bottom ie through the core.
then insert the pen through the middle of the side of the apple so it meets up with the other whole,so there is like a T of air!

then put your thumb over the bottom whole put the weed on the top where the stalk would have come out,and smoke through the side whole.

i've never tried the apple bong, but it does lead me to interesting observation:

all the anti-drug propoganda and stereotypes make stoners out to be unmotivated and dumb, yet id argue that they are some of the most innovative people on the planet when it comes to their hobby: making vaporizers out of lightbulbs, bongs out of apples, soda cans, etc....that takes a creative mind, IMO.

When I first started smoking herb ages and ages ago, I remember going out to the garage, and after looking around for a good 5 minutes, I had found all the necessary gadgets or tools needed to make a cheap and disposable bong
