sorry to take up space like this, but is there anyway anyone could provide a quick synopsis over gnr behaviour and activity of the last three or so weeks? no need to go into great (or even any real) detail on the izzy/rosario dawson incidents

how is axls voice sounding during the shows? has there been any setlist surprises? the general mood and ambience of axl and the rest of the band? any tommy/replacements/soul asulym confrontations?

To answer your questions: Axl's voice is good at times, bad at other times. It was definately at its best in NY, but he sounds good in some songs in Europe too. Setlists are always the same: Basically just AFD + Knockin' + Live And Let Die + Some leaks (varies, doesn't play TWAT a lot) + chin dem + Maddagascar (sometimes). The vibe in the band seems to be good, they at least appear to be on semi equal footing with each other. The new guitarist (Ron Thal) was pretty shy/weak the first few shows but seems to be progressing in the right direction. No confrontations about other commitments, bands just yet. Don't think it's gonna happen either.

My take: better than '02, not as good as '92 (which is mostly because Axl's vocals arent't always on par and the current batch of lead guitarists don't entice me as much as Slash did/does.)
