Donnie Brasco, with Al Pacino (what an actor) and Jonny Depp!

Superb movie and two superb lead parts

I saw Open Water the other day.  I say it was a waste of money.  It was actually pretty good until the stupid ending, which ruined the whole movie.  I'm willing to watch most movies over and over again, but I can safely say I'll never watch Open Water again.

"From Hell", good film but Ian Holm wasn't very convincing as Jack The Ripper. Just Bilbo Baggins on a killing spree.

Jet Li has done loads of things right - unfortunately I agree, 'Hero' wasn't one of them.

Has anyone seen an anime called 'Ninja Scroll'?  I ordered it yesterday, but don't really know much about it.

Nah dude, I havn't been able to take Jet Li seriously, although he has done some good movies.

Hero is just beautiful to look at, how couldn't you have enjoyed it?

Collateral

Tom Cruise is excellent in this movie, the plot is fairly standard but it definitely is worth watching

Star Wars IV - A new hope. One of my top five favorite films has finally arrived on DVD. It felt great watching it with crystal clear picture and sound. I'll watch The Empire strikes back in a week or so. ok

The People Under The Stairs w/ Ving Rhames & The Kid from Michael 'I Love Children' Jackson's Moonwalker.  It started off really well with an air of mystery, well at least it did for me since i had no idea what the film was going to be about and since i missed the first 2 minutes did not know the name of it until the commercial.  Unfortunately the 'Bad Guys' became stupid and just overacted, and the hero job my the little kid just became irritating.  Not bad for a no-brainer though....very good start...poor ending.

Star Wars IV - A new hope

How's this for an idea....

When you speak of the last film that you saw, you actually do just that; being talk about it. Give an opinion, say it rocked, say it was shit...

...But, please, let's not turn this thread into a list of films.  Undecided

Because at the moment it is one that I wouldn't mind actually reading...

...And how many people here actually read the "What song are you listening to now?" thread...

Not me, that's for sure.

Anyway, I watched Bill and Teds Bogus Journey earlier, and it still kicks some serious ass even though I've seen it going on three hundred time. It's one of Keanu's better films...
Definatly one of the type of films that I found hillarious when I was younger, and even more so now.

That's the thing, I thought it was pretty and all, but I couldn't find a whole lot else.  I thought the story was bland and not well constructed, the script was poor and the film, in general, was a bit of a waste of time.  Not a scratch on 'Crouching Tiger...'

Harold and Kumhar go to White Castle. I thought it was pretty funny. But lacked a good plot. It's one of those modern day teen movies with a shit storyline but funny gags.
