What if Axl, and management decided to simply reward all the GNR fans with material that they can no longer use, because Buckethead left the band, and they cannot duplicate his style?  What if the real Chinese Democracy CD is filled with great music, but non-shredding guitar style playing, and all of these songs were never going to be released anyway?

It COULD happen.  If Fink or Fortus can't play them, then they can't play them.  Buckethead is very hard to duplicate, so maybe even if they are great, they just can't use them.

They'd just release it as it was.

There are better guitarists than Buckethead. People could be paid to complete the album, or to tour even, if it came to that.

I read Bucket is the 7th fastest in the world and rated something like 4th in technical? I bet there are a hundred people in the world who could do that stuff he does.

Would anyone agree that based off the lyrics from IRS, Better and TWAT, and even the Blues and Madagascar, that this is going to be a more emotional album for Axl as compared to UYI ?

I think Stinson needs to decide what band he's goign to officially be in once CD is released.  To be perfectly honest I don't like the fact that he's doing shows with SA, so WTF is going on with his situation? I mean he hasnt mentioned anything GNR since 9/18 on his website, and for awhile he seemed like the face for guns during 2004.
