I love One In A Million, but I can't see Axl ever playing it live again. He once stated he wanted the song removed from Lies. Who knows with Axl though, he can change his mind.

I think OIM is a great song. Unfortunately because of the lyrics, it did'nt get it's proper due. I could see them playing it, but changing a few of lyrics. On second thought I doubt he'd do that. I don't think they'll play it again, but I would sure like them to.

Remember the song is from 89.....but I do think it was rather wierd of that song getting so much PR and a song about killing your girfriend the media didnt give a shit about...maybe they got the joke?

I love One In A Million but it would be very unapropriate to play it in 2006....it would stir controversy but in a real bad way.

Axl should focus on the new songs. I would be disappointed if One In A Million was played.
He should also forget about the UYI era. This is the past and there's a new band now.

The band didn't have a lot of time to learn more than the current set of songs prior to the NY shows, I doubt they've had time to really experiement or learn more of the back catalog. With the lack of experience playing together as a band, along with the ongoing emphasis to showcase "the hits" along with new material, I don't think they're going to all of a sudden play something like "Locomotive" or "Pretty Tied up" although it would be pretty sweet if they did.

I was actually going to start a similar thread, but figured it might get moved. ?I want to hear One in a Million live. ?It is an awesome song. ?Axl should not worry what other's think about. ?I think it's great. ?If others don't like it, tough!!!!

That was a good point Neemo!  One in a Million is an easy song to play anyway.  Hell, even I can play that one!

imo, it's just not a strong enough song to rationalize adding it to the set, especially with so many other great ones they could add instead.

i actually thought of one in a million the other day while listening to "some girls" by the rolling stones

i wonder why nobody ever made a big deal about the lyrics in that song
