Thanks to Evo I have just discovered Spotify and I can't speak highly enough, instead of playing music off last.fm its far better to play it on Spotify and have it scrobble to your last.fm profile, no limits on play counts, quick and easy to find music, well worth using!

spotify is pretty fucking brilliant, started a thread about it but it seems like nobody here really understand what it is

a tip for people still using last fm for statistics and shitz, just came across this site http://www.normalisr.com/ where instead of counting the songs you've listened to it actually estimates how many minutes you've listened which IMO gives a more fair result

all you have to do is to enter your last fm username and in less than a second you have this new list

Funny...I wrote a last.fm journal about how metal music gets the shaft because all those 10 minute tracks count as one track, but 3 minute pop songs count the same.  And, predictably, Opeth moved up 18 spots in my top 50.
