If they come to the north east in early November that would be awesome, I do hope the album is out before then though

It won't. We are already in september and they will need time for promotion, 6-8 weeks probably.
An anouncement early october for a mid/end November release seems good to me.

Start to worry if on october 15th or 20th there is no sign of the album... I hope it won't happen though? confused

How come he answered you so quick?
I thought he was still responding to the June's emails or something.

He has been home for the last month so I'm sure he was able to get fully caught up on the backlog of emails he had.

So with Axl saying this is the year, and Richard saying it'll be out at some point during the tour, is it really believable that we might actually get this album?

Yeah and I think people often forget just how many times those albums were delayed as well.

Personally I think it bolded well when they did this last time, as what better momentum then to be on tour already, with so many anticpating new music, , while knowing you potentially will get to hear it first live , not such a crazy idea.

Didn't you know? Those albums were first meant to come out in 1984.

They did a big pre tour of North America and Europe, then took a about 3 months off before they went back on tour, and during them few months off is when they released the UYI albums. So they weren't exactly on tour when the albums were released.

Originally the next record was supposed to come out in 1988. Since it was taking longer then they thought they recorded the tracks for Lies, slapped it together w/ the stuff from Live Like A Suicide and released that because supposedly the album would be ready for 1989. Then they had about every set back known to creation and the album got pushed back again. They finally were released in September 1991 as we all know.

I know there are a TON of difference between then and now, CD and UYI however I just wanted to make it clear that UYI was very much delayed.
