Check the back covers of the "official" live bootlegs.  If there is a picture of an ape and the DNA helix and a man that is one of the better shows.
The bands was going to grade all the shows A,B,C,D,F, but they decided against that.  They did put that picture on the back of the top 8 or so shows from that tour.

Maybe you shouldn't have discovered Creed first?  Tongue

The bands website has added more dates for Australia in February and Japan in March.  This is great news.  I can't wait for them to come to Canada.

**All dates are tentative and subject to change.

Note: Current Pearl Jam 10-club members will have the opportunity to pre-order two tickets per show for the US tour; information regarding the procedure for doing so will be mailed out this week. Keep an eye too on tenclub.net in the coming days for details on fan club tickets. Pearl Jam's 2003 Riot Act world tour begins on February 8th in Brisbane, Australia with Johnny Marr and the Healers opening. Pearl Jam then head out for 5 dates in Japan. See Tour for a complete and regularly updated list of tour dates.

Reminders...

The second U.S. single from Riot Act is "Save You/Other Side" and is now due for release in the U.S. on February 11. "Other Side" is a new song written by Jeff. For those outside the U.S. the second single from Riot Act will be "Love Boat Captain" - details are forthcoming.

The long awaited Ramones tribute album, titled "We're A Happy Family - A Tribute To The Ramones," is currently scheduled to be released on February 11, 2003. This project by Rob Zombie features various artists including Eddie w/ Zeke on "I Believe in Miracles." The album's liner notes are written by Stephen King. Sounds fantastic!

Look for an Ed Vedder cameo appearance on the new Cat Power album, "You Are Free." It'll be released on CD and double vinyl on February 18, 2003.

No new news yet on Pearl Jam's rarities album still scheduled for release on Epic this year. It'll be a mix of live and studio material recorded on two CDs.

for whoever was asking about yellow ledbetter, theres an official live version released on the daughter single. its a pretty good version but not as good as some later bootlegs

anyhow heres some more info about the song from www.lukin.com you should all check out this site

"so what is yellow ledbetter really about?"

Yellow Ledbetter was written by Mike (can you hear the Jimi Hendrix tribute?), Jeff, and Eddie. It can be found on the "Jeremy" single and a live version can be found on the "Daughter" single. This is another song that people ask what its meaning is and what the heck the lyrics are. NO ONE but the band really knows what the meaning of this song is or what the title refers to. Heck, we don't even know what Eddie is singing on it! Like a lot of Pearl Jam songs, it's pretty much open to your own interpretation. The song book has what we think is a good guess to the lyrics but again who knows. The Japanese CD single with "Yellow Ledbetter" also has some lyrics on it but they don't seem to fit with what Eddie is singing. All we know is that there is a porch where people don't wave, someone doesn't want to stay and there's a box or a bag somewhere. Eddie also tends to improvise the song's lyrics when Pearl Jam plays it live. So again, the best thing to do is sit back, absorb and enjoy the beautiful, haunting music. Don't drive yourself crazy by analyzing it for its true meaning. Find out what it means to you.

this is a good site for fans and new pearl jam likers. check it out if interested
