Yup, Bruce Willis has signed on for the role of John McLane once again. He said he'd never do another Die Hard, so I guess he's getting paid a healthy sum of money. I'm not too stoked, though, even being a fan of the original films. I have a feeling they are going to fuck it up, espicially since it's been about 10 years since the last.

And finally...

I thought all three Die Hard films rocked (though the second one with all its plane crashes hits a little too close to home)

Just adore the first film's 80's OTT nature - the 80's was just full of those kind of absurd yet brillaint action flicks - why dont we get them anymore?

Cant wait for this - so many great films on the way (and all remakes, sequals and continuations from the 80's hihi)

even though all these remakes/continuations are of films i loved back in the day, the whole things smacks of complete and utter desparation on hollywood's part.

how fucking lazy are they?

Crap.

Exactly.

The second film was good. The first was blah and the third was horrible.

Gaaah! the second one was terrible, the first rocked and the third kicked ass! This can be proved through complicated mathematics.

I can't wait for this film, hopefully he'll kill at least 50 men, possibly the odd woman and child too. I watched that 'over the hedge'  and that was total shit, so this should make up for it.

I think I read somewhere they are thinking of having Willis with a younger supporting cast to bring in people who aren't that familiar with the older movies.  Doing the same thing with the new Rambo movie too (yes, Stallone is making another one).  Pretty dumb to do that if you ask me - let the older guys kick ass on their own.
