On 08/03/1991 Guns performed a legendary concert at the Forum In LA. Their longest show ever, 3 hours 36 minutes and 19 seconds. I own this on cd, but does anyone out there have a copy on Video/DVD. Or do you know who might?  This concert was voted gig of the year by RIP magazine in 1991. It was the last US gig with Izzy as an official member. This Would have been a much cooler concert to have released instead of The Japan Gigs. Anyway, that to me is the Holy Grail, I have many other concerts, even one from 01-86, but this concert I think would great to see. Thanks

It's not the longest show they did... I believe they did a show over 4 hours long in Inglewood or Indiana or something...

The Forum is in Inglewood, CA. This from all accounts I have seen is the longest show they did on the Use your Illusion Tour. I have Never heard of them going for four hours.

When i looked into this show years ago it was claimed to have started at 11pm till 3.30 - 4 hrs 30 mins!

But hell, i wasn't there - was anyone from the board in attendence? -? i'd love to get a more definitive timeframe, must have been one of the greatest shows ever - unlike what we all got on the 31/7......

Yup, 3:36:19 seconds according to Duff and Axl At the end of the concert. now maybe somewheres in the year and half after this show they went longer. but from all the bootlegs and interviews i have looked at, this was the longest show ever. but my original question is getting lost, does anyone have a video/DVD copy available?

Don't believe it, people exaggerate alot when it comes to the old shows, probably due to the amount of time that has elapsed since them.  I just saw some yesterday someone claim the Rose Bowl show was over 3 hours, uh sorry it wasn't.

There hasn't been any GN'R show longer than the L.A Forum on 08.03.1991, which lasted for about 215 minutes: 3 hours and 35 minutes.

Chicago 92 lasted 180 minutes. Worcester 91 lasted 180 minutes as well.

To my knowledge there is no video recording of the L.A Forum (any of the 4 shows) out there...

Hmm, I'm pretty sure I have this show laying around on CD.  It would be nice to see it though on dvd.

Amazing show, shame we'll never see it. It's probably just collecting dust in Axl's vault.

The shows from 12-5-91 to 4-9-92 were all over 2.5 hours, except Dayton where Axl cut his hand, and I think the longest then was 3 hours. The only other shows that are 3hrs or more are Hampton 6-22-91, Charlotte 6-23-91 and Greensboro 6-25-91 but those last two there are no bootlegs of them to be sure. Supposedly Greensboro is the second longest they ever played, about 3.5 hours, I personally would rather see that surface than any other show.

So you're talking about the old Gn'R. I didn't think that was allowed here on HTDGTH. Well it is providing it does not become a new vs old thing  hihi
