That?s it now? Axl and his crew ended their tour with a kick ass show last night at Wembley Arena.
Sebastian Bach kick-started the night (albeit an hour late), and reminded us just why he is so good! The backstage staff weren?t exactly up to scratch- but it was definitely entertaining as you sang along to Skid Row classics and Bach swearing at the roadies! Pure entertainment!

Then there was Bullet for my Valentine? Fantastic lighting, grate guitar riffs and class A vocals? but before we know it- Bullet were off stage without even singing ?All these things?.? and we were left waiting for another 45 minutes? The tubes had stopped running and enthusiasm dies?as we stood up to grab a cab home the arena darkened and the melodic riffs of Welcome to the Jungle echoed through the crowd? There was no going home now!

Axl ran on stage and screeched in the only way Axl can, and the crowd went wild! Special guests arrived on stage, much like Download Festival, but no new songs were sang... only pure GNR classics?

Each guitarist had his own solo part of the show?but we cringed in sheer disgusted embarrassment for them all as we had to endure their take on Christina Aguilera?s ?Beautiful? (without the singing, thankfully!) But it did get to the point where as soon as Axl introduced someone we would have a sit down as we knew they just couldn?t live up to the original members, however when Don?t Cry was played they totally redeemed themselves and everyone seemed to accept the rest of the guys!

All in all, the gig was amazing, and at one point we felt like we were back ten years earlier? but that was soon dashed when the solo of November rain was changed slightly and the crowd booed? I know it?s not the same line up anymore but you just don?t change a classic riff because you feel like it!!!

With fireworks, and confetti (yes, we know- we cringed too) Axl disappeared halfway through Night Train and Bach flew on stage finishing up on a high with Paradise City? But where was Axl? His manager, very kindly, told the crowd that Axl was sick and couldn?t finish the gig- but he didn?t want to cancel- so he struggled through and made it so far?

The whole night was amazing, and seeing Axl Rose cry lyrics with such a powerful voice, even after all these years, was a truly rewarding experience. We know he gets a lot of crap from the press, of course he does- he?s famous and, well, eccentric- and an easy target! But no one can say he didn?t cut it on tour, nor can they criticise the fact that he arrived late most of the time- Its Axl Rose? It?s expected!
