"US tour not to support CD" -thread - Deleted?

There was this thread, a pretty interesting one down at the Guns N' Roses section. The debate was about whether the US tour was about supporting the release of CD. Down the road, Mysteron was asked something along the lines of whether the plan was to have CD released this year. His answer: "As of now, yes".

Now the whole thing is gone. A lock would've been sufficient, if it was steering too much off-topic.

What's the deal with that one?
