The latest, greatest single from another long dormant band, the WHO

If you like 70's Classic Rock, this is unbelievable comeback song . . .

www.artistdirect.com  In the "featured downloads" section on the right side.

p.s. You can check out a short article on GNR while you are there.

So, is there any tread left on the tires? Or at this point would it be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?

Heard the 3 tracks on artist direct. I know they're getting older, but something is missing. At 1st listen the songs sound like theyre not agressive enough to be Who songs.

I have both. The EP is good but there is no reason to buy it now that the album is out. It was just meant to give us a teaser until the album is released.

I think the album is very good. Much better than I would expect considering most older bands don't release a lot of quality material these days. There are some really good tunes on the album. I can't get "We've Got a Hit" out of my head.

Oh nice, so people do like the new album around here.
Yeah, I've only heard WHO stuff on and off over the years, but I heard the "Wire & Glass" EP and I liked it. I bought the new album and it really surprised me, I enjoy it alot. It's got a classic sound, and sure, I agree something seems to be missing; it's not as hard as the older stuff, but there are great songs, and Pete and Roger still sound very passionate and into what they're doing, it doesn't sound tired. Good stuff. Look forward to seeing them if they come out to Australia again
