How cool would it be if they played RAR or Download on IMAX?

If this concept of displaying GN'R on a big screen were a person I would most definitely make cold passionate love to it.

I am excited about this, I shall go now to see if it is playing near me.

Went to the movies tonight to see Employee of the Month (pretty funny, what I expected), and during the credits they showed a preview for Download '06, with clips from Avenged Sevenfold and Deftones, and of course, our beloved GN'R.  It was cool with see Axl and crew on the big screen.

For those not familiar, Regal shows past concerts from all kinds of artists.  Checked it out online after I got home from the movie...

It's only an hour and a half long, so I'm not sure how much of the Guns performance you get to see, but hey, it's proshot and how cool would it be to see Better or something in a movie theatre?   yes

Before all my posts about subjective matters there should be an IMO before the post. I took this sig down but of course it has to go back up.

So we KNOW for sure what songs will be playing on the big screen?  It's playing right beside my work...so any info on this show would be great!!  Will they show at least half the setlist or not?

i don't think anything concrete is known about which songs will be on there but I'd guess they will show 3 songs max since they are focusing on many different bands...

 Yo,
I saw KoRn on one of these big screen concerts back in 2001. It was a cool experience and I grabbed the small lightbox promo sleeve that hung outside our theater afterward,as a souvenir. We couldn't make the actual show, which was soldout in NYC's Hammerstein,so this was a good second choice.

Does anyone know for sure if this is a normal movie screen or on the IMAX screemns? I can't see it state that anywhere for sure. It's 10 bucks at the theatre in  Woodfield IL near me, so I'm thinking that's IMAX since the normal rpice for movies there on a weekday is 8 or 9.
