I'm not sure if it would be worth the effort... but do you think you could add a "Jump to Page: " option in the threads?

I'm sure I've seen it on other message boards, you have a small text box where you can enter a page number for the thread to view it.  It would be simpler to navigate 10+ page threads since right now you can only select the 1st page of the thread and the 2 previous and 2 next.

you can do so by editing the adress in the adress bar.

for example: http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=38038.0  this is the first post in the thread
if you modify the adress:  http://www.heretodaygonetohell.com/board/index.php?topic=38038.60 it will take you to the page with the 60th post

So if there are 20 pages in a thread, I can just enter a multiple of 20 and I've got my jump to page option.
