The "no news found" has been like that for a long time.

The only thing new is the Privacy Policy.  Most like an internal Universal thing - they said all websites must have it included somewhere, so they added it.

Whee.  ok

Shouldn't this go in the dead horse gnronline section?

Nothing new, just a Universal/ Interscope automatic text concerning "Privacy" (against SPAM, in other words).

Not necessarily...if I'm not mistaken Interscope still owns that site basically and the "webmaster" must be someone working for them. I bet it took just a few seconds for them to do the "update".

No it wasn't. I merged it with the old thread about everything "exciting" that's going on at Gnronline.

Just like I did with this one.

We don't delete threads unless they're really stupid. Most of the time if you don't find your thread it's been merged and/or moved.

I had a thread deleted once [hihi]

I posted to ask what were the basic rules for the message board etc., and then I think it was Cat who pointed out there was a sticky thread at the top. I asked for it to be deleted before too many people saw my stupidity  Grin

The site now has a "Privacy Policy".   Undecided

At least someone still knows the site exists.

I'm not sure if this counts as a "real" update, so if necessary dump this thread into the "gnronline status" thread.

Edit-
Here's the direct link to the Policy (which appears below the "News" section): http://staging.interscope.com/signup/privacypolicy.asp?src=http://www.gnronline.com&scnr=news

yeah, don't know what to make of this, wonder why after years of nothing, they decide to put up a privacy policy? maybe they found a 4 year old check list and saw that they had not yet put up a privacy policy for gnronline

I would have sworn that the privacy policy link wasn't at gnronline.com the last time I checked.  Somebody tell me.  Is that new?  And if so, what does it mean? nervous

Honestly, I find it strange.  I'm sure it wasn't there before.  And, no, I don't have a magic fax machine that tells me things.  It's only the dead people in the walls who send me messages.

Good.  I thought maybe it was just me.

Well, I don't know if soon is the word, but maybe Chinese Democracy starts, um, sometime over the next few months. Grin

Exactly.  It's fascinating.  Everyone should look at it.  In fact, I thought it was so interesting, I mentioned it in the GnR section.  So I'll just reiterate the point here, 9 days late, by way of replacing my thread on the subject that is about to be locked. Grin

Actually, I've been coming to this board for quite a while.  I just been a while since I've posted.  I forgot about the gnronline.com sensitivity.  But now that I think about it, I do seem to remember something about people posting every other day: "gnronline.com: Is it a different color?", "gnronline.com: It's bound to change sometime", "gnronline.com: It hasn't changed!"

Oh la la... three months and no one posted in this thread?  What the?

Oh yeah, well, it is about updates to GNRonline, so somehow, I am not that surprised Smiley  Anyway, I wanted to get myself a new t-shirt... I got a sweet lookin one for my birthday... unfortunately, it does not fit, so my sister was going to let me order a new one on her behalf (awww, sisterly love) and for cryin' out loud, the merch link is down.

Bllaagghhh.  Gotta save my GnR shopping spree for another day.
