when I met him, i couldnt understand his name, then he told me that i post on his site, i asked what site, he said HTGTH, i said "Jarmo?"

When I heard it being pronounced as "Yarmo" in the Talking Metal podcast, I was pretty much like: "huuuh??"
Then I remembered how my Norwegian brother-in-law was telling me the other day that "yes" in his language is "ja", sounding like "ya". Smiley

I always pronounced Yarmo, being that I'm a huge hockey fan and have seen Finnish names in the game for a number of years.

I'm sure no one knew how to pronounce Jyrkki Lumme's or Janne Niinimaa's names first when they came over.
