I used to do sound for a venue that was mainly for emo/punk/hardcore shit. I gotta admit they were good musicians but they had no idea about EQing their amps. It was like they would turn up every fucking knob to full. The singers would always ask me to turn the bass way down and put in alot of top end into the vocals. It sounded like shit but they loved it. And I had never seen the most unco-ordiated mosh pits till i saw these kind of bands. They would stand there and swing their arms around in circles and kick their legs out. They looked like a pack of retards in an all-in-brawl. |
