I always thought Robbin Crosby died of AIDS, but on the behind the music it claimed he died of heroin, and since then I've read that too. What did he die of?

I read that his bloat (in an interview with Crosby no less) was a reaction to his HIV drugs. ....Always read AIDS until the BTM. Really odd.

I went to see Ratt in 1986 with Poison , and they were REALLY good
live , I think that says a lot for any group now a days.

Too bad the original 4 living members will never see the stage together anymore.

Wow , just caught this http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=70814

Robbie Crane (bass) John Corabi (guitar) is playing with the
3 originals! (Pearcy,DeMartini,Blotz) I didn't realize hell has
frooze over again!

IS BACK FOR MORE!
NEW ?BEST OF? CD AND DVD FROM ?80S METAL FAVES DUE THIS SUMMER FROM RHINO RECORDS

BAND?S NORTH AMERICAN TOUR WITH POISON BEGINS JUNE 13

LOS ANGELES?After much speculation and anticipation following the airing of their ?BEHIND THE MUSIC? episode on VH1 last spring, multiplatinum hard rock act RATT with vocalist Stephen Pearcy, guitarist Warren DeMartini and drummer Bobby Blotzer will grace the stage together for the first time since 1999. Plans for not only a U.S. summer tour but a full-fledged comeback are being mapped out now as the band prepares to hit the road with Poison. The band?s own tour dates will extend into the fall and may also include shows in Canada, Europe, Japan, South America and Australia. Joining the band onstage will be bassist Robbie Crane and guitarist John Corabi.

A full itinerary is still being finalized, but Poison and RATT will join forces for a summer trek that is scheduled to begin June 13 at the Bi Lo Center in Greenville, S.C., and wind around the country through the end of August.

The tour, which brings the two bands onstage together for the first time since 1999, will visit major U.S. cities such as Boston, Detroit, New York, Oklahoma City and Los Angeles.

The band has recently aligned with Carl Stubner, CEO of Sanctuary Artist Management (ZZ Top, Mick Fleetwood/co-manager of Fleetwood Mac, Tommy Lee/Supernova, Paulina Rubio, Jack?s Mannequin) and is booked by Jay Frey at Paradise Artists.

RATT made their mark in the early ?80s going ?Round And Round? with a string of hit songs, videos and four consecutive multiplatinum albums (over 16 million albums sold worldwide). Their arena-filling live shows set the standard for all bands to follow. Creating anthems for the youth of that era, their music and performances maintain a timeless quality to this day.

loive RATT.

anyone wanting to get into them. i suggest there debut album, and then invasion of your privacy, the under produced RATT EP is worth a shot too.

if you like those alot, then i suggest you get the other albums....they differ in quality.

dancing under cover is half good.

reach for the sky....commercial trash.

detonator, change in sound but really great album.

ratt 84-91 or whatever greatest hits is good

RATT self titled effort with different members....is...very different, country sounding, its ok but maybe it should have been done under a different name.

to the dude wondering how Robin died: he did have Aids, he got it from using a dirty needel then he kicked the habbit i think for a while then he decided before he had the chance of dying of Aids, he wanted to die on his terms so he injected a lethal dose of heroin.

And i heard that RATT got back together again on Blabbermouth for the....what 8th time? Any way i hope it lasts, i'd love to see these guys on tour with Poison and maybe Twisted Sister. God that'd be a hell of a tour ok headbanger

It's got some wicked stuff on it , like some weird version

of  "Lovin' You Is A Dirty Job", I can't remember if it's

hip hop or techno....it was weird , and sounded cool.

The EP-Never heard it, but know a few songs and they are great.

Out of the Cellar-One of the best rock/metal albums of the 1980s, a classic.

Invasion of Your Privacy-Not as strong as the debut, but good.

Dancing Undercover- I like this one almost as much as the debut, and this one is more interesting musically.

Reach for the Sky-Not their best album. A little formulaic, but a decent effort, a few gems.

Detonator-Sucks, sucks, sucks. Fucking horrible. Fuck you Desmond Child. As bad as Slaughter or Trixter.

Collage-Pretty cool.

RATT '99- Sucks major ass.

Ratt 99 was a VERY good cd. you just have to listen to it a few times. and then it grows on you

as for Detonator, I love the songs "top secret" and "shame shame shame" everything else, well Desmond Child pretty much fucks up every band hes worked with.!!

if you want, PM me ill send you files from the EP. its probably one of Ratts best stuff. even better than OOTC or Invasion

nobody rides for free was an amazing song. I wouldve liked to see what they couldve done with more songs like that had they not broken up shortly after.

"Nobody Rides for Free" is great.

Detonator, however, just plain sucks. The band just sounds really, really tired. The album is full of nothing but worn-out cliches. Albums like Detonator made Nirvana's sea change in rock possible. The '99 album also blows.
