Almost forgot The Doors, oops, Riders On the Storm Roll Eyes

CD was recorded last year with Ian Astbury on vocals, but with all the legal battles over the name of the band, they haven't been able to release it. Currently still appealing the judges decision barring them from The Doors name.

yeah, it was the John Densmore - the drummer - he didn't want Robbie and Ray using the doors name, so they changed it to 'Doors Of The 21st Century. Again, john got mad, and took them to court.

kind of sucks actually  no

He didnt have any problem "disgracing the memory of Jim" when he was playing with the new band. Soon as he was out though, everyone else were wrong to be playing under that name.

Hypocrite.

I didnt hear that but it is possible. I just heard that he felt they were disgracing Jims memory by continuing to tour with Ian singing. As with anything else, if you werent in the room during the conversation its all speculation. All I know is that I saw them play in West Palm in 2005 and they were great. The band was tight and Ian sounded great.
