anyway.......Woo hoo!!!!!!....team canada is goin to the gold medal game, edged out the US in a shootout to advance. right now Russia is up on Sweden in the 3rd so looks like the last 2 games will be

russia for silver and USA got Bronze if anybody cares
Germany and Belarus have been removed from the tournament next year for Kazakstan and Denmark i think....but i'm not 100% on those 2 teams being in in 2008 so dont quote me on it

The junior team I work with here in Texas was supposed to lose a player to Slovakia's team. He played for them last year, but this year, somehow didn't end up going over for it. Not sure why.
