Every time I click on another page to read other topics and then perhaps go into a topic and post, the system takes me back to page 1 always. Is there anyway, the system could take me back to the page I was on before posting? Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a way to list more topics on a page so you don't have to click 25 pages to see all just to be taken back to the first page.

Does this make sense?

I think I do. lol (I hope so)

Go to your Profile > Look and Layout Preferences > Return to topics after posting by default (make sure it's checked) and click Change profile.

What I think is weird is that I thought it was on by default for everyone.

Ok. I tried this and it was already checked in my profile but I did it just to see what happens. Here is what I want to know or how I can fix this - say I go into a topic on the main GNR thread with like 200 pages of topics, and I go to page 4, find an interesting topic and post there, after posting it does take me back to the topic, but how do I get back to page 4 to continue browsing other pages and topics??? Every time I click on the main header to go back, it always takes me back to page 1 and I have to click pages to go back to where I was before I posted in the topic. How do I get back to page 4?
Why wouldn't the system just take you back to the page of topics you were looking at before posting? Should I just hit the back button in my browser to access the same page after posting?

Again, let me know if this makes sense.
