First of all I am sorry if this has been discussed before, but as I am quite new here I wouldn't know.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any sort of idea as to what Axl meant when he stated "Round 1" at the end of the bands performance at the 2002 VMA's.  It has puzzled me for ages and would like some help.   beer

He probably thought that things were moving forward regarding the making and release of the album.

It was meant that the ball was in motion and that they were back.

In hind-sight, we all know it was a false-start.

Nah.  They've just been building up momentum to charge out of the gate.

Lots and lots of momentum.       hihi
