Blake fronted Jawbreaker and Jets To Brazil. JTB is my second favorite band, to GNR.....
Unfortanatly, he's kind of dissapeared off the face of the earth since 2003 (remind you of someone  Undecided)

Anyone like Jawbreaker or Jets To brazil?
Jawbreaker was probably the greatest punk band....and every JTB song is epic.

"Jet Black" is still a personal favorite.  Then again, it's hard to find much not to like on "Dear You..."

Curious if there are still any Blake fans lurking?

Picked up the self titled LP by his new band the Forgetters.
It's his first full length LP since Jets to Brazil's Perfecting Loneliness.

I actually hold JTB's output in much higher regard than I do the legendary in "punk" circles, Jawbreaker.
The Forgetters sound probably leans closer to Jawbreaker, but I think fans of either would appreciate it.

Lyrically, he seemed to be on a higher level than anybody on JTB's Orange Rhyming Dictionary.
He's back to the simpler song structures, less words, but still creative as always.

Good to have him back, hopefully he won't disappear for another decade.
