Not sure if you are implying that Martin is a better singer or not. I guess I can't get a "grip"
Wow. The Morrison/Martin comparison just flew right over your head, huh? You sure you're a fan?

Yes I am pretty sure smart ass. Seen them live a couple time. Own a few CD's.
He looks and sounds almost exactly like Morrison. What I don't get is you telling me to get a grip. You are comparing Morrison to Celine Dion. Are you saying he is a better singer than her or worse? I stated Martin can out sing Axl, and you reply with a Morrison vs. Dion reference that I think is utterly ridiculous. So I asked you to explain exactly what you were trying to imply. Sorry I didn't get your ever so witty remark or it's relevance to my Martin/Axl comparrison, other than Morrison and Martin are very similar. I fail to see how Dion and Axl are anywhere close to the same singer.

Triptych and The Interzone Mantras are both solid albums, while Seven Circles is a definate decline in quality.
Id honestly say 'Mantras is just as good as Transmission, albeit a softer album

Yeah Lullaby is an amazing tune...
master and margarita is pretty cool too...we went and bought that book after hearing Jeff talk about his inspiration for the song...my wife thought is was a pretty good, but i never read it....a bit of a religious flavor in it so it turned me off...i may get to it eventually though
Triptych was too mainstream for me....although the mideast flavour to some of the songs was interesting....when it came out i was working with a guy from Egypt and even he thought it sounded somewhat authentic..kinda shocekd me cuz that guy was the farthest from a rock fan that you can meet but after a couple tunes he was like what is that? they play good
i'm not a fan of that messenger tune...though the crazy backing vocals are impressive on it...the coolest thing about that disk is the inner sleeve opens up to a cross

Save Me is an alright track.
Not a favorite of mine, but I like it.
And yes, their cover of Paint it Black does indeed kick ass

I told you to get a grip because you had stated that Jeff Martin was a better vocalist than Axl Rose. It's pretty self-explanatory if you ask me. Just like my simile of sorts. You know, the one with Jim and Celine?

Well that is your opinion. In mine, I think Jeff martin is a better singer than Axl. And I am big GnR fan. But that doesn't mean I can't think another singer has a better voice. Axl is a better frontman no question. But his voice is far from the best and does not have the range of Jeff Martin.

ok so i listened to this today....on the second last track as we speak actually
its decent, a couple tracks are exactly what you'd expect from the Tea Party at their best, and alot of stuff could be from a mellower version of Edges of Twilight. alot of stuff is really mellow though, like more mellow than anything tea party ever did. and he still uses all the exotic instruments that he always has. and he explores a few styles that I've never heard him do.
its a good album and for $8 you cant go wrong...especially if you are a fan of Jeff Martin or the Tea Party...go get it!

I disrespectfully disagree. I also have a question. Do you have arachnids residing in your ears? (insert rhyming "knowledge of current affairs" quip here)
I'm sorry, but your silly opinion precludes me from giving you the time of day.
Again, goodbye. Let's silently agree to disagree.

Wow...sarcasm...the lowest form of wit.
You come across as an insecure Axl minion who believes the singer can do no wrong.
You want to silently agree to disagree, then stop leaving inflammatory remarks as your closing response.

Seeing as how we all communicate with keyboards here, let's do away with the oral angle and make this strictly a writing lesson. Tell me more.

No I don't. You just don't have anything keen or original to say, so instead you bundled the thoughts behind your rebuttal into a prepackaged sort of statement, threw it on the table and felt all proud of yourself, having just dealt me a fatal blow. Sadly though I'm willing to bet that you also walked away with a vague sense of confusion in the back of your mind as some small part of you knew that you were unable to sufficiently express the innermost designs of your current thought process. But you know, I wouldn't really worry about it, because for a small fee I can help you out with that. If of course you're interested...
Now, to back up my assertion of innocence (Heavens to Betsy, I'm no Axl minion!) I would direct you to observe the glaring dearth of any reasonable evidence to corroborate your claim of me being a mindless Axl worshipper.
The reality here is that I said
nothing
to even
remotely
lend credence to your silly declaration. I can't come off as a sanctimonious disciple if there's nothing there to make me look like one...

Blah, blah, blah. Axl Rose has a better, broader, higher, wider, whatever you want to call it range than Jeff Martin. End of.

I used to love this band like 15 years ago. I got out of music for a while in the mid 90s, and just forgot about them. Then I heard The Bazaar while trying to win a copy of Chinese Democracy, and remembered The Edges Of Twilight (wonderful album).
I'm trying to find more bands like them. Any non-Doors suggestions?
