Most recently, Gilby Clarke gained fame from his stint as a guitarist with Rockstar Supernova; in the early 1990s, he played with Guns N? Roses. Through the years, he?s produced, played with former Guns bandmates and others and worked on his solo career. He?s released a bunch of solo albums; his latest, simply called ?Gilby Clarke,? is a ?best of? compilation released this year.

He plays a gig this week with Jetboy, the punk-glam-hard rock combo that began in San Francisco in the 1980s. The band?s lineup features original members ? vocalist Mickey Finn and guitarists Fernie Rod and Billy Rowe ? and Michael Butler on bass and Tim Huthert on drums.

Vin Rouge and Ari Shine are also on the bill. The show is at 9:30 p.m. Saturday at Fat City, 314 11th St., San Francisco. Tickets are $18 to $20. Call (415) 861-2890 or visit www.ticketfusion.com.
